Kathmandu, July 13. The government is implementing the new curriculum for class 11 immediately. As the new academic session will start immediately, schools and teachers are urged to make necessary preparations for it. The new academic session of class 11 will be implemented as soon as the results of the School Education Examination (SEE) come out. SEE results have reached the final stage. Officials of the Center for Curriculum Development have called on the government not to reconsider its decision to implement the new curriculum in the last 30 years. Ganesh Bhattarai, director of the center, said that he would not back down from his decision even if it was a minor problem. Stating that the curriculum has not been modified despite the change in the political system, he said that the government should not shy away from the opportunity to implement the new curriculum. He informed that the government will provide books on three compulsory subjects including Nepali, English and social and life skills education for class 11. The center has so far prepared new syllabus for 75 subjects, according to today's Gorkhapatra daily.
